1) Position: Engineer & Senior Engineer – QA (Silk Testing / RDBMS)

Location - Bangalore, India

Job Description:

• Understand testing requirements, platforms and test environment for each project
• Develop the test plan, logical and physical test cases to be used in testing based on business requirements, technical specifications and/or product knowledge.
• Apply various testing techniques, validation & automation tools to deliver the QA/ testing job
• Manage software to test, validate, store and share in an easily retrievable fashion
• Identify test cases which could potentially detect critical shortcomings in process/ system/ product behaviors
• Setup system level configuration
• Identify hardware and software requirements and provide test efforts
• Perform functional and system testing
• Perform Performance tests
• Identify and rectify bugs
• Troubleshoot system and product issues
• Continuously update one’s knowledge in the field of QA/ testing
• Regularly provide status updates on deliverables to superiors

Required Skills:

• Basic testing concepts.
• Strong RDBMS Knowledge OR Strong knowledge in databases OR both UNIX-Basic OR Strong

UNIX & Scripting knowledge.

• Automation-Exposure to strong SILK OR Strong knowledge in App/Web Servers
• IF SILK-1.5 + experience in SILK ONLY
• IF App/Web Servers-Strong
• To develop and execute test cases/ scenarios to ensure the application/product is acceptable quality standard

Education / Experience

• B.E. /B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech / M.C.A

• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience.

2) Position: Engineer / Sr. QA Engineer (Load runner / Unix / Appservers)

Location : Bangalore, India

Job Description:

3) Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – QA (Automation / Unix or Windows)

Location - Bangalore, India

Job Description:

• Own initiatives taken within the development team to anticipate future client requirements
• Fix any bugs in the code
• Implement (coding) new requirements
• Design new requirements
• Review the designs of subordinates
• Review QA test cases
• Review technical documents
• Support QA / Support / Technical Documentation teams on technical issues
• Report to team lead on daily activities
• Estimate development activities

Required Skills:

• Design, develop, and execute testing methodologies, test cases, and test automation of products & offerings.
• Report test results and recommend enhancements.
• Ability to work on challenging and complex problems at a systems and application level.
• Work in cross-functional teams that include other quality assurance engineers, software developers, technical writers and customer support.
• General knowledge and application of engineering concepts.
• Expertise in product development life cycles, test methodology and risk analysis.
• Ability to interact with development leads and with product management to understand the functionality.
• Strong capability for designing and writing test procedures based on PRD.
• Experience with performance testing and benchmarking initiatives in an enterprise product will be a plus. Multi-dimensional database experience will be preferable.
• Highly skilled in RDBMS and web technologies. Strong technical experience with Java, application server, and database technology, sufficient to administer and configure test environments.
• Good knowledge of operating systems (Unix.). Ability to install and configure application servers and web servers (Web logic, Web sphere, Tomcat, IIS, etc.) and RDBMS (Oracle 9i, DB2, SQL Server)
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively as a team member as well as individual

Education/ Experience

• B.E. /B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech / MCA

• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience.

4) Position: Lead Engineer – QA ( / Automation / Unix or Windows)

Location - Bangalore, India

Job Description:

• Gather requirements from client
• Create both high and low level design
• Review own and other’s design
• Implement (Coding / Configuration) code review
• Allocate tasks and monitor them on a regular basis
• Review unit test plan
• Provide status updates to the Project Manager
• Interact with the Project Manager for resource allocation and estimation
• Configuration Management
• Develop Proof of Concepts (prototype)

Required Skills:

• To be part of a team of 10 contributing to QA and development activities on cutting edge web technologies
• Thorough awareness of the complete STLC and SDLC
• Good communication skills
• Perform automation testing on higher end web technologies
• Contribution to development activities as well as and when required

Education:

• B.E. /B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech / M.C.A (Graduate)

Experience:

• 5 + years of relevant experience.
