- Our Client is currently engaging with a large client who is keen to move his legacy applications in the mainframe / Tandem world to a J2EE SOA based architecture with Oracle 10G as the database / platform
- The client hosts ATM Switches which connects to various bank hosts and Processor interfaces
- We currently assume that the client has developed all these applications in-house and these count has grown to over 290 applications and hence the client is in a process of consolidation / rewrite / replace mode
- Hence the GOC team must have exposure to legacy transformation, Mainframe / Tandem, COBOL, SOA, Oracle 10G.
Role:
Will be the primary technical person for technical roadmap decisions and technical architecture development.
- Responsible for developing design, architecture and development of a large Java and SOA/Web Services application and system
- Participate in a team of architects and lead the design and architecture of major components of the overall architecture
- Interfacing with Business Analysts, understanding requirements and translating that into application and systems architecture.
- Building prototypes, testing design attributes, and working with other members of the prototyping and architecture team in achieving overall objectives
- Developing ideas and presenting them to peers, management, and Chief Architect
Experience Includes:
Must have
- 10+ years of technology and software development experience
- At least 8 years of experience in developing J2EE applications
- At least 4 years of the J2EE experience should be in design and architecture of large systems
- Experience in IBM Mainframe Legacy Transformation to SOA architecture
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services Architecture– must have done at least two major projects
- Experience using Oracle 10, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle BPEL Process Manager (BPM)
- Experience with Java/J2EE models, design patterns, frameworks, components, best practices
- Experience building large distributed systems and applications, with emphasis on web services
- Experience with JSP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, tModel, XPath, XQuery, BPEL, BPEL2PEOPLE, WSIF,JDBC, JNDI, JAAS,
- Experience with IBM WebSphere or related technologies is a plus
- Experience with standards like RUP, UML, CMMI or others

- 8-10+ years of Database management
- Atleast 4 years of experience on Oracle SOA stacks
- Experience in Database modelling, design and its relevant tools
